I saw a cap like this in The Golden Compass and thought I'd try to knit one up. I love how it fits. My dear little Granddaughter is patiently modeling for me. I made one for myself and I just love it. My Granddaughter says it looks like a gnome and my husband calls me Helga when I wear it...thus the name.
