It is a Cormo sheep roving blended with some soysilk fiber (Made from the by-products from processed soy beans). It is delicious! I'm striving for laceweight for the Melon scarf in Victorian Lace Today. Since spinning this fiber, I've learned that the unblended soy silk does not draft well making unpleasant slubs in your finished yarn.
Maureen,
ReplyDeleteWow, what beautiful roving. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
