Well, this fiber is addicting. This is from New Hue Handspuns on Etsy. It is a lovely Merino/Angora blend. I started these socks from cuff down, then panic set in and I knew I wanted to not waste any of the yarn so restarted from toe up.
This is a better shot of the Merino/Bamboo hanks I picked up from New Hue Handspuns. This dyelot (Soloman's Seal) works up so pretty.
my colors for sure!
ReplyDeleteHi Mo ~ It's me Jen, from the spinner's gathering yesterday, and from Ravelry (jenjay). I sleuthed out your blog from checking out your Ravelry profile. Very cool ! I am so happy to have met you and am just so excited to get started in a spinning group again , after 15 years being out of it.
ReplyDeleteNot only do we have spinning in common, but also the Celtic/Irish music! Do you play? I actually play in an Irish band that plays occasionally at Murphy's (John Kelly & Greengrass). We play every Friday in Napa (Suppertime cafe sponsors us) at the outlet mall food court (until owner finds a place to open an Irish pub. ) I guess you can check out my blog from here... if you like. I befriended you on Ravelry, by the way. Hope to see you again real soon. ~Jen
